Hot Snakes fucking ripped tonight. Strange evening. We couldn't borrow anyone's car so we took mine. Left a half an hour late, ran out of gas as soon as we got to Tchapitoulas St., then had to call a friend to bring us some petro. We didn't see the first band, tough titty. Then the girl I was seeing wanted me to come over after the show, but it was already 2am and we had to get back to Lafayette. Overall it was a good night. Anyone who reads this has my permission to buy me the Hot Snakes skateboard from the Swami records website,

Where did you hear that? Lafayette is pretty safe as far as I am aware. It's no Austin,but I never hear much about violent crimes. Maybe it is because I never watch local news. That and the fact that I never take into consideration the stupid/drunk rednecks that are always fighting.

it was on the local news a couple weeks ago. nola is projected to have the highest murder rate per capita in our great nation this year. i'm thinking it might be time to move.
