This weekend was great. I went to New Orleans b/c it was the last weekend before school starts. Friday I stayed in Lafayette for a going away party, and I met an amazing girl from NOLA. We hung out most of the night, but as fate has it, she was staying in Lafayette until Sunday afternoon and I was staying in NOLA until sunday afternoon. Saturday afternoon I went shopping for records and barstools. I found no barstools, but purchased $300 in records. Sat night we went to the Saint to meet some of the other SG members, but I think we showed up too late. The Saint had the Shane McGowan documentary playing when we showed up, so we stayed for a while. After the dvd was over, they played the Sex Pistols documentary. About half way thru we left to go One Eyed Jacks. Liquidrone was playing, whom I have seen numerous times, but it sounded fun anyway. It was a great show, they play with more members in NOLA, so it was a little different. We also went to the Whirling Durvish (I haven't been there since it was Crowbar), and Circle Bar. I almost forgot how fun the mod parties are. Sunday we walked around a bit, shopped Magazine and the Quarter, ate at Fiorelli's and headed home.
