Well hello there.
I've been in Philadelphia for about a week now, and I must say that this is a pretty cool town. I've been working alot at my new job (which I love) so I haven't had time to go exploring until today.
I started my job on Tuesday, and I was greeted with a slick laptop and a nerf gun. "You'll need these." I was told. Within an hour of my first day I was involved in an office firefight. It was great. I've never had a job quite like this; no dresscode, flexible hours, super relaxed environment and as many free lattes as my bladder can handle.
If I were offered a full-time job at the end of this internship, I would be strongly inclined to take it.
Anyhow, I'm going to go familiarize myself with more of the city today and do my best to figure out whether or not there is a good metal scene here (I doubt it..
).

In answer to your question, I'd like to get a PhD in some sort of Conservation Policy planning type thing... basically my dissertation marries Ecology, Economics, Law, Sociology, Psychology and Management in a bizarre fashion and nearly no-one has actually done this sort of thing before so I don't really know where it would fall under... probably Conservation Management.
Or I could stick top known waters and do an Entomology PhD...
