My weekend off turned into a weekend of work. Oh well. Friday night I got to see The Haunted, Dark Tranquility, Into Eternity and Scar Symmetry. I was most impressed with Dark Tranquility and Into Eternity. Scar Symmetry put on a good show but their music is a little too generic for my tastes. The Haunted... well, I was never much into the whole Gothenberg thing... still not. The show went really late which subsequently caused me to sleep in on Saturday.

After finally dragging my ass out of bed, Ari and I went on a lunch date to a Vietnamese restaurant. We both had Pho.

She can eat with chopsticks. I'm so proud of her.

That night, there was some Brazillian show at the club. It was.. interesting. Everyone there assumed I spoke Portuguese. I don't know why.

Today, I went and lost some money playing poker with my friends (I wound up losing that game, Hickers. =/) As I write this, I am on a Greyhound bus back to Boston which has quite possibly THE WORST suspension ever. Typing is an adventure. I broke my headphones somehow, so I gerry-rigged them to my head to listen to... I CANT TELL YOU BECAUSE IM NOT SUPPOSED TO HAVE THE ALBUM YET! I will say this however, when the new Vital Remains album comes out, I highly recommend you pick it up. Not that its what I'm listening to right now.. but lets just say that I have a good feeling about it being fucking incredible.

Impure - Hemicorporectomy

Lots of brutal, chuggings. Just what I needed.
