Soo.. I worked the Cradle of Filth show last night. Now I understand why Hot Topic and Myspace are still in business. Do people really clump old-school metalheads like moi with this teenage rabble? I really hope not, but given the overall myopia of humanity, I come to the unfortunate conclusion that they do. I saw Dani walking around before the show. He is really, really, really short. I'm no giant - I'm only 6'3 (190cm), but this guy only came up to my shoulder.. and he was wearing these boots that easily gave him an extra 4" (10cm).

3 Inches of Blood was... amusing. I really don't know how I feel about this band.. I kinda like them, but it feels like a guilty pleasure. Sounds like something fun to listen to while I play D&D. Yes, I play D&D.

My friend and I in our "fake" black metal band have finally gotten around to recording a new song. The working title is "Grim Arctic Sojourn", and HERE'S A SNEAK PREVIEW!!! Check out my awesome guitar solo at the end!!!

Thursday was my daughter's 9th birthday. Man, am I beginning to feel old. She got mostly .. GIRLY STUFF for her birthday. Few toys - mostly things like... shower gels, lotions, clothes and a few books. Not the little kid books either.. I mean like full blown novels. I'm still trying to grapple with the fact that she is going to be a teenager in a few short years.

I also now officially have three jobs. So now I can say "when I was in college, I had 3 jobs." Yep. I'm a "senior" office assistant at school (some distinction!), a bouncer at a club, and I will be working at a Staples copy and print center! I just had way too much free time. Had to fill it up with something.
