just got some grape vines in in the back yard as well as some cucumbers, peppers, and carrots. Next will be tomatos and herbs along with various other veggies. In other news, the looming government shut down. Its up in the air as if I'll get a back paid vacation or stay working. I hear around the shop that we will be safe since we're...

0630 am, the wind is howling the weather station is reporting light snow and a wind chill of -2. time to go count trees.

Update: made it out to the plot, just barely "forested", still -2 or so and windy and snowing. we decided to call it a day at noon.

While public offices and schools are cancelling for the day because of the weather, I'm still going out to the field to count bushes, trees, and grass (the kind cows eat). Gotta love my job, the only weather that stops me from working is lightning, but thats only until it passes.

Haha thanks! Yeah, I like crawling around and taking pictures from the dirt. I probably look like such a dumb ass to other people walking in the park, all army crawl status in the weeds. LOL

Sucks you gotta work in shitty weather frown

So I'm back to work starting today. First this week I'll be in the booming metropolis of Lordsburg NM, but atleast I'll be staying at the Hampton and be getting some good chili and echiladas. Then its a week back over the AZ border to another town (mostly mormon and apache) for a class for me to learn to become an engine boss. From what...

Interesting few days on the home front.

First got home sunday night to a note on the door from the city water saying that there was a leak in the utility alley causing the feeder line to my house to break on my side of the meter so they turned off my water until it was fixed. Called the realator, and got an answering machine...
