OK - I am now officially sick of winter and especially of working. The whole city is covered in ice and these morons think the city has nothing better to do than take care of them personally. You know what? I'm not sorry the plow piled a bunch of snow in front of your driveway. That's how it fucking goes. Dig yourself out. Get a neighbor to help if you can't do it yourself. Can't get down your street because it's too steep? Guess what? If it's too steep for you to get down it's too steep for a plow to get up. We have enough trouble keeping the main routes passable. If you need medicine- call the Red Cross. That's what they do. They'll get it to you.
We're doing the best job we can. We're working 12 hour shifts and are about worn out.I have to come home and shovel my own sidewalk after that 12 hours, ya know.
I've seen a few people helping out - clearing gutters and catch basins. Digging out their neighbors cars and such, but very few. Most people just call us and whine.
