Oh shit! I'm on fire!!!
Some of you may have noticed that the titles of my entries rarely have anything to do with the entries themselves. It's because I think it's funny.
The problem with the world these days is there is no de facto policy of Mutually Assured Destruction. You know, that thing the characterized and charged the enitre atmosphere of the Cold War era. Our enemies in this modern world couldn't care less about the fact that we could wipe them and their entire country (and probably their neighbors too) off the face of the planet if they so much as sneezed in our direction. In all honesty, Iran and North Korea are not going to stop nuclear programs because they're pretty damn sure we're not going to do shit about it. Which is a problem. The Soviet Union was scared to push us to far because they knew we would retaliate, and vice versa. Kim-Jong-Il doesn't care, or thinks we're too weak to do such a thing, likely so does Iran. They aren't afraid of us completely erasing them from the planet like the Soviet Union was. Which was weird because the Soviets could have wiped us off the face of the planet as well (much later in the cold war, it took them awhile to figure out ICBMs), so far North Korea and Iran lack that ability.
The point of all of this is for me to tell you that Russia needs to become a world Super power again. Why? Because if tensions between the United States and Russia start to reignite...the rest of the world will hide under a rock.
Well...probably not, but I like to think so.
The next best thing would be zombies. Zombies would be cool.
