I just found out the The Pony is celebrating it's 5th birthday this weekend and it looks like it's letting you know with a massive run of acts. For those of you who don't know The Pony is most revered for it's 2am shows allowing the last standing of Melbourne's bottom-feeding rocknroll lowlifes to filter in from all the other gigs and share the common love for deci-bels and deci-booze.
Andy's pick for the weekend is Friday 28th featuring Melbourne's gayest screaming panzy heterosexuals The Sailors along with The Bakelite Age, Jed Whitey (WA), NamGoat Transformer and Solid Waste. Whitehorse and Mexico City (Bris) playing at 2am. Other offerings are BlowUp on Saturday, Melbourne's 60s mod/kitch night (not sure how to explain it, but it's good!) and Sunday the eternally foxy Remake Remodel (can't believe I have to work!). Halloween Monday has a killer line up too...
