So I just saw Alkaline Trio play, completely, their first album Goddamnit! live. They played all but one of their closing songs, which are all superb. Busted out the acoustic for a few acoustic songs that ruled. All told they played for an hour and 45 minutes straight through.

Skiba played the entire show in a tie and a vest and played quite a bit with a nice little Fedora. The Alkaline Trio fucking rule and their shows are superb. I brought one of my roomates along, who I've known for years, and converted him. Best show I've seen in quite some time.

The only way it would have been better is if I'd been totally shit-faced.
