I really want to tell all about my awesome family party this weekend... but it wouldn't be fair to do it without the associated pictures. Fierhauk posted a couple... and I plan to post a whole bunch on my website, but right now I got nothin.

And since today is Holly's last day in Philly (sob, sob! ), we'll be having a last final party in my backyard. No time to play with pictures until tomorrow.

EvilFlapjack came with me this weekend and she is now definitely an accepted family member for life. Now they all know why I love her so much.

We drank ourselves silly, ate all kinds of tasty creations from venison to homemade hummus to sausage gravy and biscuits, cruised around southern Maryland in Fierhauk's 2005 convertible Mustang (rental), kicked ass at darts, sang songs around the campfire, played all kinds of naughty games with cousins, took tons of pictures, and generally had a friggin BLAST.

I suppose it makes it more special that it only happens once a year... but I think that there's no reason why us cousins can't get together more often. Seriously, just cuz we live in PA, CA, VA, MD, and FL doesn't mean we can't make a road trip more often than once a year. I haven't even seen Jeff in 3 years or more, cuz he lives in Florida. And Chris and Jon only come up from VA once a year for the party in MD. Funny that Heather and Kristen live in Philly but I still don't see them cuz they're cousins of cousins so they're not that close...

except once a year.

Come on, people... Krawchuks Rule! We gotta get together more!

Next Goob Party, I'm gonna bug them incessantly to get to my Little Apartment.
