Due to disinterest in the Saturday plan, I'm gonna stick to One Night of Fun for this weekend.
Friday January 21st, 2005 there will be a small party in my Little Apartment with beer, bean dip, popcorn, and movies!
I guess we'll start around 7 or 8, and continue until I get tired and kick everyone out... or make everyone sleep with me in a big pile. I have a new DVD of Monty Python's Meaning of Life, which is a good funny movie for a big crowd, and I was thinking of renting "Meet the Parents" because I haven't seen it and I want to see "Meet the Fockers". If anyone has the movie and can bring it, let me know so I won't have to pay for the rental.
I'm in my "off" season, so the Saturday thing just seemed like too much to stress about.
I had my first day of classes today. I have this HUGE break between classes on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 11:30 until 2:40. That's three hours of hanging out. If anyone is local and wants to have lunch sometime, give me a call. I have a TrailPass that gets me anywhere on Septa, so I can go into Center City or out to the suburbs on the regional rail, so if you have an adventure in mind, please share! Otherwise I'll be stuck on campus doing schoolwork or browsing SG in the library.
I started 3 of my 4 courses today, and it seems like it will be an interesting semester. There are a few people in my classes that I had in classes last semester, which is kind of cool. I talked to some of my Major-Mates. Yay! Goob is making friends. There's also one guy that I went to high school with. He doesn't remember me, of course. I was very quiet most of the time in high school. But I remember him. He had this awesome banter with our Algebra teacher that impressed me enough that I still think of him often. I will tell him next time how much I admired him then. It's really interesting how I was so terrified back then... I couldn't talk to people because I was afraid of what they would think of me. And now I am comfortable in most social situations. I like talking to strangers.
I'm still leisurely browsing through Venla's set. I go through phases where I look at every new set and get all excited about the naked ladies... then I lose interest and they all look the same to me. This one appeals to me for a few reasons. She's very pretty, very real-life, and the setting is completely beautiful. It's very much my style. I wish I could take pictures of my naked self in a greenery like hers. I'd spend more time with the rocks and the water... but I'm just not photogenic enough. (don't argue, please. i know someone will try) Maybe next summer I will make experiments.

Whoo-Hooo! #2027! I ROCK!
I'm glad you're looking forward to your new semester. There's few things better than a bunch of interesting classes. What are you going to school for, anyway?
