Yesterday was better. I was busy busy busy. I went to the Comet for Happy Hour, then to the theatre to see B.B. King, then to a server meeting at my restaurant, then to Whiskey Tango to see my friends' band play.

Highlights:

My youngest sister has a boyfriend now. His name is Josh. They were all smoochy-smoochy at the bar (gross!) but I'm very happy for her.

Johnny A opened for B.B. He was pretty damned good. He did a Hendrix medley style thing that was rockin.

B.B. was awesome, and he reminded me of my Pop-pop in some ways. My Pop-pop was cooler, though.

My manager bought me a beer at the server meeting because I left the B.B. King show early (I did see most of it though- missed "thrill is gone" )

I played pool and actually didn't suck as bad as I usually do.

Moira was at the bar and she won me a moose from the Skill Crane machine. I love my Mo.

Yeah, I know it's supposed to be a reindeer, but for me it's a moose. And sorry I look crappy in that pic but I just got home from work and that's my yukky restaurant outfit.

My partner in the pool games was this guy who's also a friend of the band. I have hung out with him on many occasions but rarely ever talked to him. Well, last night he got really friendly all of a sudden, and before I knew it we were flirting and then he was kissing me. Now, I try not to kiss in bars. It's awkward and impolite, to say the least. He was pretty persistent, so I let him. I was flattered. It was okay for a little while, but he was a little too clingy and I had to push him away. I think he had a little too much drink in him. I feel bad for encouraging him... but I don't intend on continuing. I can't deal with clinginess. One thing to note- he is shorter than me. Not by much, but definitely shorter than I generally go for. Maybe it was the beer, but it didn't seem to bother me much last night. That's a good sign.

I doubt it will continue... I think it was a drinking thing. Ah, well... another one bites the dust.

Here's a big question- What am I doing tomorrow night? It's a friday and I am free.

I think I'm having Movie Night next Wednesday. That's also my first day of class.

I'll finally be going camping again the last weekend of this month. Yay! It looks like it will be a fairly big trip- at least 6 or 7 people are going so far. I'll keep you posted in case anyone wants to come along. Not sure exactly where yet, but probably hiking the Appalachian Trail a few miles out near Harrisburg.
