Today was my first idle day since I quit my DayJob.
It's a monday, but I slept late. I had a dentist appointment and then visited my sister and the baby. I changed the baby for the first time, and took her out into the yard to watch her eyes squint at the sunshine. She sneezed. I came home and browsed through my course catalog, then went online and registered for two more classes in the fall, bringing my total to sixteen credits. I made lunch, discussed plans for next weekend's festival with Adam on the phone, and sat in the back yard to read a book and feel some sun for a few hours. I thought of going biking, but didn't. I cleaned up the house and backyard a bit from the revelries of the weekend. The keg is finished but some of the things out there are still not dry, so I will take them all down tomorrow.
In a minute, I will put on Anthem of the Sun while I do my handwash laundry in the bathroom sink, and hang the wet dresses and such in the livingroom. Later this evening I think I will call someone and head out to the bar with *very* little cash and try not to smoke a cigarette.
Pretty good, for an idle day.
