This weekend rocked. First the bike ride and mark's party, then granny's bbq, then after work on monday (last night) I went out to a bar with some friends and wow what an adventure.
Hanging out with a bunch of drunk people singing along and dancing to the cover band, smoking too many cigarettes while the singer is waving the prosthetic leg of the guy standing next to me who has his arm-stump on my shoulder... and then the curly-haired wild girl who picked me up in the ladies room reaches out for me to dance with her...
Yes all these things happened. And dammit, I had a really fun time. I don't care how corny it is to be drunk and singing along with a cover band in a bar in northeast philly and shake my ass with a bunch of tight-clothed philly girls who sing way too loud and way off key... cuz for a night I was one of them.
Sometimes it's best just to go with the flow and do what you feel like. I should do it more.
