Tonight was supposed to be free for laundry-doing. Then one of my managers called and asked if I could work tonight. I'm a sucker, so I said okay.

Why do I hate january?

every year it sucks. it's right after the holidays so there's a need to work and work to make up for the spending. i'm fat and gross and unhealthy from the season also. and my house is a mess and i don't have time to clean because i'm working all the time. i don't have time to see any friends, but friends aren't doing anything anyway because it's january. it's cold and it's dark all the time. my new year really begins in september, in the afterglow of summer and the festival season. this new year in winter is a crappy idea and whoever thought of it wasn't thinking ahead.

i nearly always get depressed in january and don't fucking tell me it's my own fault cuz maybe it is but you don't need to remind me why.
