sorry i haven't been around in like, oh, a week. between unpacking and contracting the plague, i wasn't much use as a human being. i spent the second half of last week drinking tea and eating soup. i've also downed a half of a bottle of vitamin c. and, most of my stuff is put away now, also. only got a few details here and there left to finish.
also, sorry i had to miss out on everything on saturday. but i don't think anyone wanted brown lung butter on their face. i probably also prevented the contamination of the disease throughout the SG culture.
i do plan on being at the SG DVD screening, though.
and i sure as hell plan on being at RumFest.
why is the rum gone?

had my first of class today. it's weird to be back in school after a little over 5 years. i was also correct in my prediction that taking english 2 and speech in the same semester was a bad idea. i'm going to have to read and write so much it's gonna make my shirt turn green.
and what does reading & writing have to do with green shit?

so, the second season of the 4400 finished last night. great freaking sci fi show. probably the best one on tv right now. of course, i don't watch Battlestar Galactica or SG-1, so i could be wrong, but i don't think so. course, i could be wrong. it happens once or twice a decade.

today, while talking to an old friend at the library, a little, fat, black boy came up to my friend (who works at the library) and said
"do you know where the Captain Underpants books are?"
that event completely made my day.
