some interesting points about my thanksgiving holiday and suck trip to naples:
- my mom describing one of the ingredients in a mixed as "nut cream"
- the equivelant of milton from office space dancing with a drunk 22 yr old girl in the shithole hotel "club"
- having a girl come up to me and my bro in the same club and ask to borrow our shoes for a moment. since the request was bizarre, we complied. she then went outside and a moment later, a bouncer came in. apparently, her two male friends had no shoes so this was her attempt at getting shoes for them so they could come in. the girl then proceeded to get angry at us for exposing her friends.
- upon receiving her salad, my mom asking the waiter "what is this on the salad?". his reply being "a balsamic vinagrette." and her next questin being "what about the chunks?". and his reply of "those are croutons.". and then her finally saying "oh, without my glasses, i thought it was steak and gravy." yes, she thought they put steak and gravy on a dinner salad.
- getting in an argument with my brother that not going to temple univ in philadelphia because you're punkrock/skinhead social life is more important is a really stupid decision
- watching napoleon dynamite and not understanding what the big deal is

and so i cry myself to sleep
for what feels like the millionth time
not gone buy i'm forgotten
into days now far behind
and i wander through a desert
in a skin that's not my own
but there's no one in the darkness
and there's no one here to hold me
