finally had my surgery today. despite having to be at the hospital at 6:30am and being sorta nervous about being put under for the first time in my life, it actually wasn't too bad. and while i probably won't be completely healed until about mid-august, i only have 2 weeks of pain killers and nasty healing to contend with. the rest should be relatively smooth sailing.
my internship starts on the 1st. i have that until august 15th. i'm currently reading the soon to be published book by Guillermo del Toro called "The Strain" as requested by my soon to be boss.
my unemployment should kick in soon. which is good cause after spending a few days with my sister, i'm running on a lower level of cash than i prefer. luckily i won't be doing fuck all for the next two weeks, so i'm hoping my financial situation will stabilize due to my inactivity.
oh, and i lost my phone. though this time it's just cause i accidentally left it in a cab (not drunk, just stupid) and not cause a hooker stole it. the replacement is already in the mail, so i should have it by friday.
i also still have a girlfriend. and still really like her. its still really weird.
