here are the many things i've accomplished this weekend since i was pretty much unable to leave my apt -
- watched all 10 episodes of Heroes - i'm finding this show rather good. even though, at heart, it really is just a less gay version of the X-Men. either way, for network scifi, it's not too bad.
- watched 2 movies
- Monster Man - a SciFi channel horror movie that i thought was gonna be okay. not surprisingly i was wrong and it sucked. though it did have the greatest movie quote ever which was "I'M A CORPSE BURRITO, DUDE!"
- The Last Temptation of Christ - while this movie was pretty well made and interesting, trying to digest Willem Dafoe as Jesus, Harvey Keitel as Judas, and David Bowie as Pontius Pilate was quite a task.
- read a buttload of comics (somewhre around the equivalent of 25 issues)
- had one of the strangest dreams i've ever had in my life. many of the details are fuzzy now, but it was kind of a cross between Terminator 3, Screamers, and I am Legend. despite it's influences, it was the most epic and coherent dream i've ever had. i just wish i remembered it better.
- played a good 10 hours of Final Fantasy XII
- did my laundry, went grocery shopping, and cleaned up my kitchen a bit
- went through about 200 CD's that i don't really listen to anymore to rip the few songs off of them that i liked. when i was done, it was just under 400 songs. considering the number of CD's, that's pretty sad.
i am now off to work on the last bit of homework i have for the semester.
i should get sick more often. i get way more done.
