donuts are usually made with beef tallow... yuck. tim horton's (which is an awesome canadian donut place... legendary, even... i love my little timmy's) makes vegetarian donuts, but still not close to vegan.
i think there are vegan donuts, but you can only get them in, like, seattle and portland. they're made from tofu. i'm sure they're not nearly as good. you can order them online, too, but i can't afford to do that. heh. it's rough... i looooove glazed donuts.
