Step right up folks...ANARCHY FOR SALE!

So I went to the emergency room two weeks ago because I had trouble breathing and chest pains. Now listen up because this is EXACTLY what these nasty and rude nurses and doctors did for me:

I sat in a bed for an hour and got my blook pressure. All normal. By now I am fine enough to leave.
Then a doctor comes and says, "So what's wrong." Being I was a psych major I tell her I worked myself up and must have had a panic attack. She happy with that and leaves with nothing else to say.
5 hours of sitting there, someone shits the bed and the place stinks and the doctor appears. I hear her asking where my stuff was, AH they forgot about me. She comes up to me. "Just a few more minutes."
TWO hours after that I'm visited by some nerd psychiatrist who tells me I should follow up with a private doctor.
30 minutes later, a nurse discharges me. YAY, gone. No drugs, no tests, just got to sit in a bed stewing for 8 hours or so.

So how much does this equate in American dollars?

For the doc and blood pressure and the wonderful fecal smell and scenary... $1,800
For the psychatrist to tell me to talk to someone else: $250

I haven't gotten any ambulance bill yet but I'm sure that should be a cool couple hundred.

ANYONE who tells me that the American drug and medical system is not sick in and of itself, should maybe get to meet one of these great professional medical people.

Word to the wise, if a doctor ever asks if they can speak to you, ask them how much it would cost. And also ask them this, and do use these exact words:

"Hey Sir/Madam, when your at home, with the crack pipe on your lips and your fucking the shit outta your husband/wife/mistress/dog/cat/canary/grandmother/gay lover, do you imagine that said person is the American public? Do you imagine how good your fucking us all too?"

Hopefully they'll just go away, or even better, cry themselves to sleep. If not, they're a sociopath, and no one should take advice from a sociopath!
