Just got back from a little island east of here the US does not like too much. I had some nice cigars, a real mojito and got to hear authentic Son Matumo music, ala the Buena Vista Social Club. And all I could think of is a person I wanted to be there to hear it.
They are going to Afghanistan. If there was a way I could stop it I would. Their heart is elsewhere. But if time and circumstance was right.....
I finished up mastering the stuff I recorded off hours in the UK years ago and I need to send it to them before they go. There a few songs for them on it.
Eh, too much bootleg rum. And a killer sunrise. And thoughts of a a great soul I wish was here....
