Now the dust has settled, finally. Man I think last year was a record for funerals, drama, musical artist horseshit ( I had to sue 2 people for payment).
From what I gather it was a rough year for everyone. It made hope go to the leery dept. And hope may not show up again for a while. Fuck another label I work with failed the other day. I have had to lower mastering rates to the lowest they have ever been. Shit if anyone knows a band that wants to have an album mastered cheap let me know.
I am not close to shutting down the dog and pony show, but I may have to go back into IT and do Network Engineering for a few months to fill up the coiffers from the hits I took last year. Its a cycle of business I guess I have to deal with.
Just have to hold on and put a good shoulder to it.
I finally said fuck it working in IT years ago, companies are cheap and now are cheaper. I may have to drum the bushes to find a project with some funding and try and hop on that.
