11 inches of snow on the Snow-O-Meter. First good dump of the season. The county has not plowed... Go figure.
It is tranquil in a sense. Until my neighbor the Nuge fires up his old decrepit snowblower that sounds like a bore drill with bad bearings. You can hear it from the surface of the moon. That is why I am hunkered down in my soundproof bunker.
He is not too bright, using one on a dirt driveway. He hits a lot of rocks. So it is brrrrrrrr, clang clang, brrrrr clang clang, brrrrrrr, clang squeak, hiss howl......spew of curses. Which I enjoy. It is the earth getting a good laugh at his stupidity. Kind of like the people you see mowing dirt on the side of the road near trailers. But alas this is a neighborhood that is changing for the better.
All the old ignorant, drunk, Ted Kazinsky types are getting forced out by younger forward thinking types. All the old troublemakers (shooting guns off in their yards, driving people off of the roads, etc) have for sale signs in their yards thinking they can cash out on their over priced chicken shacks........not so much.
So the circle of life continues..........
