So my voice is gone. Exciting. I called my doc to see if I could get in and got the whole "you have the crud, its been going around" routine. Nice job Marcus Welby. So now I have to spend a few days resting my voice, due to the fact I sound like a frog, louie armstrong, tom waits (might be time to do the tribute cd).

I was fine friday night, I probably caught it from the unwashed masses at the art shows I went to. Our little group hit many of them, the free booze was flowing and I tied on a good one. Which I have not done in 5 months. Felt good but the repercussions were harsh. I spent the whole day in bed watching movies I needed to catch up on to remain hip and happenin' in the world today.

The Doc said to drink hot toddies, hot whiskey was my poison of course. So having 4 or 5 of those made it a fine day. I added in a doob also to take the edge off. Made some pretty burly soup. Got a fine case of the screamers after that. So I was in the bag again, high, not hungry watching movies laughing at my own farts. It was a full orchestra, horns, drums, etc. Might be TMI. But I thought it was funny.

So today is resting my voice avoiding the sunday calls from family and friends and doing the email thing vs the phone.

And maybe fartin out a little tune, any requests?
