All I can say is thank god for homeowners insurance, i paid extra for the flood coverage. So needless to say the house is a total loss foundation is shot, luckily we still have the jeep and my mastering equipment, roadcase, memorobilia, the water only came up 2 feet from the river behind the house but got into the basement and filled that up, I lost a few amps and not my guitars. But alot of the dreams I had about this place are shot..........so we are moving on with Jess's Dad.
He is flying out to colorado to look at a studio there, less chance of flooding and destruction, jesus he lost over 450k worth of stuff and like he said, it was time to refresh anyways........
So we are couch surfing, and waiting for a hotel room to open up so I can get the check for the house and cars........
We cleared out our clothes, and anything salvagebale, which was not much......I am glad too I got my fall releases done before all this shit hit. And the Mastering Engineers around town have been good enough to donate time in their studios if I need it........
I have fought through, divorce, cancer, heartbreak, depression, cocaine addiction, car wrecks, financial ruin, and now this.......I am just numb.......We are numb, Jess is taking it pretty hard.......mix that with her ex fucking with her at every corner........thats another chapter.......
On humerous note, I did save my beer and plants so all is not too bad........
Ive got a chance to do some mastering at abbey road again, in september.......I am persuing that like stink on shit.........get away from the swamp.........
SO hopefully all you texans did not get flooded out.........
