Made it to NOLA, had a fun high speed ride....amazing what a 400hp v-8 will do......mileage wise, not so good, but I am not complaining.
I am at a buddies in the Algiers neighborhood, or what is still left of it. My god it is mindboggling that in a country like ours how this disaster has wallowed so low on the priority list. Some things are getting better but the majority of the houses are still wrecked......sickening........Might be time to set up impeachment hearings for the idiot king soon. But our spineless congress is still to busy bathing in their majority wins to take notice.......Just makes me mad as hell this is going on.
I'll see family tomorrow once my uncle gets in from offshore.......I have to spec a job for WWOZ and then it is eating like a king and fishing saturday if it is not too crappy out.......
Also will go and hit some old haunts tonight and see if they are still around......
