I saw "The Notorious Betty Page" last night, good flick, my semi date was a big fan, we met in an astoria coffee shop, she commented on my all sweatshirt saying she went to school in fort collins and they are well known there. I said I was looking to mve up that way and she said she was going back to get her masters there. Funny. She was out there with her sister who lives in portland. So there is some potential there. I am cancelling my drive south to hang in portland until the weekend for obvious reasons and we may head to colorado if things work out, Pretty cool......
Anyhoo, I saw so many parallels with what happened here and the ignorant smut hunts of the 50's. And it makes me see the level of conservatisim then and how it compares to our current child president. We should be living in an enlightened age and it is more of a stone age.
Mid term elections are coming up, their veil of control by fear is eroding and it is time to chase the rats off the ship. It is time to use our voices as the disgruntled majority to get rid of these hacks.
