I think i am missing one more stan......
It is for the American troops stationed there. It will be one of the more adventurous tours I have been on. I am going to Austin this weekend to get some details and manifests hammered out and then we fly out Feb 1st for 2.5 weeks. It will be cool to entertain the troops and I hope that nothing hinky happens. That has kept me up at night literally. But I do know if I hear the pop I drop.
It will be cold too, so I have been getting the down, capeline, wool socks, hand warmers and mountaineering boots dusted off and ready to rumble. I am not a huge fan of the cold, funny me living at 9500 feet in the rockies and it is snowy from Nov-May. You wold think I am some burly mountain man....In some cases yes. But continued exposure to siberian winds and cold not the highlight of my life......
But there is one and she knows who she is.....

Awwww, I visited the Canadian portion of the Rockies at the start of this winter... it was damn cold for me... but apparently it was 'mild' for everyone else who actually lived there! So I sympathise!
