I just found out a buddy's dad is in a coma and ready to join the choir invisible, from liver cancer. He was a hero, poet, playwright, author. Man there is alot of dying going on this year. I guess when you take from life and enjoy it, sometime life takes back. That seems pretty Zen.

A really good friend of mine flew home yesterday to be with her dad who is in his final days with his battle with cancer. I'm not sure what kind, but it's now in his lymph nodes and liver. I actually envy her in a way because she can say good-bye. My father died when I was 3, so needless to say that my good-byes were whispered in the wind at a much later time.
My heart really goes out to her. I hope she makes the most with the time she has with her pops before he is gone.

Giggle....OLD PUNK DISNEYLAND!!! That is definately a winner! I don't know where I will be. I know where I would LIKE to be, but that is not feasible right now. I have never been to Denver, but I would love to go!! But I have to say that the " breaking hearts and making good records" also made me giggle a bit.
