I hear ya. Went out for a pint or two and ended up having to fucking sit in an all night cafe to sober up for the long haul home. I try not to type when I'm drunk. Too depressing. But if you get to drink for free - how bad is that? And it does make for interesting journal entries. Maybe that's what I should do. Just get loaded and then I may have something to say.

Today I am about ready to quit my job. I hate the amount of liability that comes with it.
Sometimes I think maybe I would be better suited to work as a garbage man, where I don't deal with people all day, just a smelly truck. It pays well and the garbage doesn't fight back!

I hear you on that one. In my line of work, you fuck up, you're gone! I hate being in a position where one asshole can fuck up your career. If you have another job lined up that won't fuck with your sanity, it may be time for a career change. Hang in there otherwise. Life is a bunch of shit that is punctuated by a few good times that keep you going (or make you so hung over that you don't care).
Great Weekend. The band sounded great. we put on a couple of great shows.

Tomorrow is the scottish festival and I am competing in solo drumming in the morning!
I have been practicing 3 hours a day, easily and I still don't feel prepared. I think my nerves are getting to me. I guess that is what happens when you fall out of the scene for a few years...YIKES!!!
