hey. lovely saturday, really must get outside and enjoy it somehow, though don't know how. trips always seem to involve consumerism -- always have to be going someplace, and creating errands -- must buy that, really need that -- ends up trumping blind wandering.
Last night needed a night in, so pizza, movie rental, some scotch. Ended up getting Behind the Green Door. It must have gotten into my head because Rabid, starring Marilyn Chambers, was on TV and I saw the name and remembered my efforts years ago to see Behind the Green Door. It comes up from time to time, and I can see why after watching it. Chambers doesn't say a word for most of it. She is kidnapped by lounge-lizard types and put in a live sex show. She doesn't seem to mind, which is where all the women's studies stuff tends to overwhelm the action in your head as you watch it. I was uncomfortable, then realized there were naked people doing it on the screen and decided to turn off the critic and see if they were doing it well. Porn can be so boring, and this had a bit of something to think about, almost more than Eyes Wide Shut to be fair.
Now to get outside. Thus far SG has not been boring, I'll say that.
