Finally made my return from the north. Arrived home to the NYC blizzard. Stuck at home today. Using the time wisely... by surfing Youtube.

This is my #1 jukebox pick. What's yours?

I feel like jukebox choices say a lot about a person. Do you pick something for the whole room, for yourself, for the girl across the room you haven't worked up the guts to talk to...? I've been known to drop a twenty and dominate the tunes for a few hours. Can I make everyone in the bar happy with every song? No. Can I make the man scowling when Abba comes on crack a smile when I hop up on a table and bust a silly move. Yes. Remember, your actions affect those around you. So the next time you decide to bully the jukebox, choose wisely. And don't forget ,the point of going out isn't to mope or bitch or cause drama. The end goal: fun. miao!!

interesting question. i too am a fan of the jukebox. i think that i try to create a selection of music that both challenges and entertains the crowd but ultimately fulfills my desires as well. i like to choose the tracks that are lost gems or less well known from a particular artist but that demand to be heard. i also try to vary the tempo so that theres some booty shakers, rockers, slow jams, and howlers in the mix.

We don't have jukeboxes at any of our bars. But I do know from the past that I tended to pick songs that I thought the whole room would like as well as myself.

And needless to say, we are all expecting a video of you dancing to ABBA now (ha ha)
