Oh man, what a weekend so far... the Secret Burlesque show last night was top notch. Going to try hitting up Kitty Nights burlesque tonight and Original Cyn tomorrow... so many great shows... so little time!
And Weezer was... epic.
Best concert of my life. No joke. You haven't heard the Blue Album until you've heard it live.
My Christmas arrived in the mail, and I'm going to try VERY hard not to open it until Saturday...
We'll see how that goes. Still trying to get out of the city for the holiday, but flights home are way too expensive. Even a flight to distant family upstate is pretty pricey. I was walking around the city trying to finish up presents yesterday, and every sappy going home for Christmas song made me want to cry buckets. I haven't been home for more than 8 hours in over a year. I sure miss my family. There are 3 new babies I haven't even met yet... I hope I don't turn into that crazy aunt that flies in once a year, drinks a bottle of wine, whoops everyone at Apples to Apples, and then disappears until next year...
