pinned to my chest


i close my eyes
to see
your wings
to feel
your breath
to hear
your whispers

i sew my feelings
onto my skin
yet they dangle
by just a thread
and
the pins
i've pinned onto my chest
lye in the darkness
of your caress

i reach out with
untouchable
intangible
emotions
to smell
to sense
to know your beauty
your embrace

i open my heart
my soul
my love
and
wish for forever
to never come

the petals taste of lust
disintegrated love
turns to dust
spread the ashes
across my flesh
this love of ours
pinned to my chest
