Oi, Oi!

Ok, the reason my updates are less than regular is because since I split with my girlfriend, the only internet access I have is by hooking up my mobile phone to my pc, which is kinda expensive. frown

So the more you all write me, the more inclined I might be to part with my hard earned cash, to write you. I hope to...

Did y'all miss me? biggrin

Thought so. I've been having much fun skiing (I say fun, I was petrified for the first 3 days), but now I'm back to share my life with you all once more.

As I said, skiing was pretty cool and considering I'd never tried it before, I now feel competent enough to get down the side of most mountains, with two...

Ok, so maybe last weekend wasn't as bad as I thought it might be. I managed to get invited to some fucked up cellar party, which was much fun. biggrin

On a less happier note, I finished with my girlfriend of 3 years on Tuesday, which is kind of a hard thing to do. frown I should know, I've been trying to do it for the last...

What a boring week. I was looking forward to the weekend, but there's nothing happening. No shows, no parties, no friends (they've pissed me off quite a lot recently). frown

I think it must be a post Christmas thing.

Next week doesn't look much better either. The only thing that has brightened things up recently has been Strike Anywhere's "Change is A Sound". I picked it...

OK kids, sorry I'm a bit late but welcome to 2005.

I trust NYE didn't hurt too much, it's never quite what you hope for though is it. whatever

I managed to crash some student party at the last minute, which turned out to be pretty cool and I met some interesting party people.
The only bad part of the night was when my so-called friend...

Some people are just depressive personalities, you tend to get a lot of them on the internet. I'm not usually this miserable, i'm just going through a hellish stage of my life. Also i'm quite an emotional person, so if i'm down I dwell on it, and if i'm happy I won't shut up about it. It works both ways.
zola25:
Too right good game for sure ...

Remember who told you what the final score was gonna be first .... 2-0 wink

Hmmm, everyone seems so depressed at moment. Christmas never lives up to expectations, so I don't understand why you all build it up so much.

As for me, Christmas has been totally stress free. I decided to opt out, it's so much easier when people don't expect anything of you. wink

Strike Anywhere pulled off a good show. Maybe a few too many kids though, made...

Um yeah. Well I probably won't regret it, as generally I don't like NYE. I think i've only had one good one in twenty years. Hope whatever you do is fun. I'm happy with my dvd's and Jools' Hootenany. I'm a geek.

OK not much to say, but I'd like to say Hi to all my new friends (you could call it entrapment, I call it initiative) kiss

I'm going to see Strike Anywhere and The Peacoks tomorow which should be fucking A. I've seen The Peacocks before and they were suprisingly good and Strike Anywhere are pretty amazing, so I'm confident i'll be a good show. blackeyed

Then...

So, I got on my course which means I'm coming home next year. biggrin

I'm gonna be studying at UCE in Birmingham which should be sweet. I was there for a couple of days last month and I've never seen such an ethnically diverse city. Hopefully the scene out there will be too.

My mother asked me recently what I wanted for christmas this year and...

i'm a sucker for christmastime. i went to the weihnachesmarkt tonight and drank some hot wine and looked at all the lights. and i'm jewish.
ashesofthewake:
My family is not really religious, so christmas is just an excuse to reunite the whole big family and to stay toghether, which is actually a nice thing, And we don't really give presents, except to the little ones. But it happens always that my mother buys me something (usually a t-shirt).

Not much is happening at the moment. I was in the Uk last week for an Interview, so I'm struggling to focus on anything until I hear about that. frown

With a bit of luck though I should be back in Blighty for good next year, so I can start sorting my shit out. I'll be able to go to a concert and, maybe, understand what...

The co-op is still pretty good, as good as a company of it's size can be. As far as I can gather from my step-dad who is a member (my collegues are useless) and newsletters I have read, it still seems like a co-operative. All members seem to have a say in the proceedings. I think.

Either way I'm feel good when people buy fair trade from me. Makes life a little more bearable behind a till.

Ok, so the Caddies were fucking hot, literally. My feet paid the price though, I think I need to invest in some boots.
I went to a cool show last night, a German band called Dean Dirg. They sounded a lot like the Hives but faster.
I'm starting to collect some friends but the more the merrier, so keep on coming. smile
anarchick:
I indeed do work in the co-op smile
pollypocket:
Well thank you! biggrin

My first journal entry, should I be nervous? I'm off to see the Mad caddies tonight in Osnabruck, Germany. I've not seen them before but I've got a few cd's and they sound preety sweet. The last few ska concerts I've been to over here have been immense. I saw Karemelo Santo on Halloween, I haven't sweated as much since the Dropkick Murpheys in Febuary.
