Last night I was invited to the opening of an art exposition for this great Cuban-American painter, Jose Luis Varona. Amazing painter, his realism it out of this world, not to mention that the guy is cool as fuck. He hides skulls in all his paintings, he told me it relates to our mortality.
The party was sponsored by Bacardi, so the rum was flowing like water. It was a trip mingling amongst the Cuban socialites, specially the older and oh so hot women that were there, MILFs I would guess but alot were not married and filthy ritch. I didn't really have the balls to aproach any of them but one did come to me, so we just exchanged #s after some small talk and that was that, I don't think I'm going to call...
The other big sponsor there was Onate Art Galleries, which is owned by my friends family and I'm their webmaster. They deal with moslty South American artist, but you should see their private collection, some good shit there. Anyhow, I helped them pack up and we all went out to eat at some ritzi place, where I met one of their HOT assistants. Good eats, great company, awesome conversation....

the Ford Championship at Doral Golf Tournament is going on right now, so every one and their mother is in my neck of the woods. It took me 30 mins to get to work this morning, I live 2 miles from work
I'm sneaking in to the reception today, been doing it for the last 4 years (the country club is behind my house ) Can you say free top notch grub and drink

The art opening sounds WAY cool - make friends with everybody there you can - networking GOOD!
I would take my sister out places but she lives in L.A. and I'm in S.F. for school...so I only see her when I'm home for vacations.
