I miss thunderstorms.
Darkening skies.
Wind howling through the trees of Illinois.
The scent of rain...overwhelming with every breath.
The way it makes me feel vulnerable. Loud crashing thunder.
Lighting.
Power outages.
Candles.
No TV.
Mother nature sitting me down and having a one on one with me...no distractions.
She commands my full attention.
She deserves my full attention.
I miss Springtime in the midwest.
I miss the burgeoning leaves and flowers.
The light green colors of new life on the Earth.
The hope of the new begining season, and the anticipation of what is yet to come of Summer.

Once while parking my car, I gave his a friendly little "Chicago Tap" and he came running out of his apartment because the alarm went off.
I do have an alarm on my car...but mine works differently. On occation, it prohibits ME from starting my own damn car. Another reason I dislike car alarms.
I like the rain, though. And the thunder. And the lightning. A rare thing for Los Angeles, but greatly appreciated.
