I work with a woman who is in her early 80s. She's bitter and angry that her life is almost over. She's from the old school. She still calls her boss Mr. Geotz...and he's 20 some odd years younger than she.

Once while parking my car, I gave his a friendly little "Chicago Tap" and he came running out of his apartment because the alarm went off.
I do have an alarm on my car...but mine works differently. On occation, it prohibits ME from starting my own damn car. Another reason I dislike car alarms.
I like the rain, though. And the thunder. And the lightning. A rare thing for Los Angeles, but greatly appreciated.
