So I guess I come from a long line of strange and interesting people. I learned that my great uncle Charles wood king used to live in an old convent in Taormina sicily. He was quite gay and was an artist, mainly pictures of wrestling half naked men. I am trying to do more research but I find nothing on the interwebs. Since he had 30 or 40 rooms he would let travelers and locals stay there and was always willing to help people in need. Until Hitler came through and outlawed anything gay he was quite respected as an artist and gentleman. Sadly all of his originals and negatives had to be burned or else, but I think a few prints are still in the hands of private collectors somewhere. Also sadly the british, I think, had intel of high ranking officials staying at a hotel near his convent missed said hotel with their bombs and hit the convent destroying mostly everything.

Well, I am off tonight with a large group of friends to medievel times tonight for a b-day celebration. Never been but I hear it is fun. It is goofy which, you know, I will have fun and make an ass out of myself.
