Went to Philly last night with neverforever, quietlythere, and a couple of other friends (Jay and Carlos) to watch a hockey game. Oh yeah, it's been so long since I've gotten my fix..... like 2 1/2 months or so. Anyway, It was an awesome game! I got discounted tickets through my company, and the seats were lower level row 8! We had a pretty good view of all the action. This game had it all... aggressive skating, hard checking, lots of shots, pretty goals, an evenly matched fight that lasted a few minutes, OT, and a shootout that went the distance and then some! It was the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins(YAY!) vs. the Philly Phantoms. These teams don't particularly like each other as well as their fans, but the one's behind us were pretty cool and some friendly banter ensued. All in all, it was a really good night. Plus we had some smoke for the ride up and back. I think if I can get seats that good for the price I got them, this could become a regular thing for me! I can also get tickets to any other event at the Wachovia complex in Philly.... Hmmmm.
