Fuck! I got a speeding ticket on the way into work this morning. 
I'm usually good at spotting cops sitting on the side of the road behind shit to hide themselves. I just have some shit on my mind and was zoning out blasting my tunes, oh well. I have eerie 'good-luck' with cops, because when they do pull me over it's usually a warning or, like the guy today, a big break. He clocked me @ 73 in a 55, and he knocked it down to 60. Good thing, because there's a BIG difference between $40 / 2 points and $100-some / 5 points!
Today is the day of reckoning. I should finally have a 'personal matter' resolved by the end of the day. Good or bad news, it can only be a positive thing. Not only will I not have to wonder about shit anymore, I will also know where to go from here. The worst part is over. Amazing what a week to one's self can do for the soul, at least for me anyway. Just pick up the pieces and carry on, because I refuse to let anything keep me down for too long. Not my style.
