i've been looking for a long lost friend recently from toronto, and i've been very sad, because i couldn't find her... but last night i think i made some progress, so we'll see what happens. I miss her so much though, and if I got to talk to her again i would be so happy.
Also, on another old friends thing. I'm going to a party tonight to see my old best friend from high-school. It's funny how you can drift away from people for no particular reason at all, and then 5-6 years later, you come to meet again, and it's as if nothing had ever happened. Anyhow, i think that feeling is one of the best feelings a person can have... you know? re-connecting with someone who was a very big part of your life... it's like finding a part of yourself again I think. Finding something that was missing deep down, and putting it back in place. I think it makes you whole again.

One was tripping across a guy I used to hang out with like 12, 13 years ago that I was really close to...
the other one ended up with a new member to this site. She was at my grade 2 birthday party and I went through the entire schooling process with her for the whole 12 years. ( I graduated in '85, so my "schooling process" goes back a few).
Her (hotbonbon) re-introduction into my life has resulted in all sorts of positive changes in my mindset and life... things that I have totally forgotten about that used to define my core are all of a sudden rebirthed simply due to her re-introduction.
Is something happening out there?
