This is craziness! Every time that I log into this site I have more and more "Friends"... wow. I love it, I feel so special and popular and loved. What a great facade to live for awhile.
So I've had a few questions as to "where do I work" (due to my skirt and tie comment) and "what is going on? what went wrong?" due to my Blink song. Well, due to me being me, I always tend to post lyrics that mean something to me. But I'm really tired and its really late so I'll write that "what went wrong" story in a greatly condensed version in my next blog... ooooh, exciting, let's get the popcorn and sit down and wait for this one cause its gotta be good! Uhhhh..... ya.... no.
In terms of where I work... its a 24 hour family restaurant type dealio, owned by a Greek family... and we have this lame ass dress code requiring me to get all prepped out to the nines every time I walk into the place. It's not me and I can't take myself seriously when I'm all looking like that- its TERRIBLE. I don't like having to wear a skirt when its a) -90 or b) when I don't feel like it. Which is often! But that's that, I guess. PLEASE DEAR GOD LET ME GET A JOB IN A BAR! I've applied, I'm qualified, I'm available... why can't I get a call and be hired?!?!
