So, im super excited. After a couple days of meetings and planning sessions, my team is officially the R+D side of Big Viking Games :D To get the ball rolling we are building something code named Project V - its an engine test to give our devs and artists a chance to try out some of the different pre-existing tech out there. We essentially have a giant feature matrix and a game design. As we build the game in the different engines, we will be checking features off on the matrix and rating 1-5. Then armed with that knowledge, we may expand on Project V, or we may dig even deeper and see just what our amazeballz talent can do with the various engines :) Who knows, may even get crazy and build a steam game! Let the experiments begin!
