While in Houston I went to a bar almost every night, I even went to one by myself. I want to continue going out now that I'm home in la but, I don't know where to start here are my theories/requirements: Guidance from someone who goes to bars would be appreciated:
1) Somewhere with drink specials that last all night -not just happy hour
2) Somewhere where the bartender looks cool - like someone I'd hang out with in my spare time
3) Preferably somewhere you can smoke inside - I know that's a lot to ask.
4) Somewhere where potentially the people that go there are in my same age bracket - not freshly 21 but not over 30.
5) Somewhere the drinks are good - no watery mixes - I could be flexible on this
6) Preferably somewhere with tables to sit at - I stand all day at work.

i work for this upstart multiplex here in michigan. the name of the company is cinema hollywood, but we only have one theatre under that name. we have two others under the emagine theatres name. pretty much typical multiplex only thing different is we serve alcohol. it's an ok job, looking for a new one though.
