Ugh... I forgot how much I used to hate my old job due to the fact I had thursdays off, but had to work fridays.

I had yesterday off and got all into the lazy groove and now I have to go back to work.

It's like some Monday/Friday mix breed today... the two days of the week I have no motivation to work.

Ah well, it will be the weekend soon. Tons of cleaning tomorrow then a housefull of people for the wrestling pay per view on sunday.

Hmm, I underestimated the suckatude of today apparently.

I waited around at work for about 30 minutes and Steve never showed up, so I went home. He called awhile later and said he had to talk to me and would stop by.

So yeah, the doors we made for some crazy rich women in chicago, the lady told us awhile ago had warped a bit and she wanted him to come look at them and see what he could do to fix them. That's why I had yesterday off, he went to the city to check on that...well apparently the doors warped more than "a bit"...they pretty much twisted and bent so much that all 18 doors are scrap.

Only thing we figured is that the birch wood we used wasn't processed correctly and we can't get ahold of anybody at the place we got the lumber...pretty convienient eh? So yeah, Steve has to take a loss on the project and redo them, which will take a few months, since the woman already paid him for the doors.

So yeah... I'm laid off now... he can't afford to pay me right now until he gets this shit all straightened out.

I could tell he felt bad and was all choked up when he actually had to tell me he was letting me go, but such is life I guess... I'm more worried about him, this is all he does... I can always find another job, it's one of my special talents in life.

Jesus, I'm way too optimistic for me, especially for just losing the first job I didn't think was total shit....lol

I'm too for my own good sometimes...

Anyways... I guess I'll get caught up on my video games and napping for awhile until I figure out what I'm gonna do for income.
