Update on zee mom type person.

She's home and doing pretty well. Just being in the house has helped her recovery process along quite a bit.

Mom is able to get around with a walker but still needs help with a lot of day to day activities we take for granted, like putting on socks or shoes.

Our remaining dog is really really glad she's home and has hardly left my mothers side since she got back.

My sister and I have been just kind of cleaning and organizing the house and trying to make heads or tails of all the flood of medical bills.

We found out we pretty much have to wipe out entirely all of our mother's savings and assets (stocks/cds/etc) before the state will even consider helping her with disability aid. Kind of a bullshit way of bleeding people dry who don't have shit to begin with if you ask me, but what can you do?
