Wow....Thanks everybody for all the comments in my journal today.
I've been working my buns off all week and it really made me smile. I've been kind of bummed out since I haven't gotton to see any of my friends here lately and haven't gotton to talk much to any of you wonderful net people either. So thanks! =)
About my day...like a scrotum here it is in a nutshell.
I spent 9 hours painting walls and ceilings...occasionally myself and our shop dog George. I feel kind of bad, my boss had to give him a bath after he ran into a paint roller yesterday while playing ball and then today I totally dripped on him. Silly little guy follows me around like mad. I think I'm his new best buddy since Chris died last month.
*off on tangent now with a point*
In case anybody is unclear about what I'm doing or why... I'm doing my best to fill Chris's shoes after his death. My bosses (Steve) daughter (Ana) is my ex girlfriend. I had met Chris a few times through those two when Ana was working with both of them the past few summers. So anyways, after Chris died I somehow was brought up as somebody who'd make good help by Ana. So her father called me last weekend and asked if I wanted a job.
Seeing as I have been jobless since like May and that I get along with Steve well (he's been one of my surrogate father's since my dad died last year) I had no problem with working for him.
We're building a little A frame house outside of town a few miles. I lucked out and the outside stuff is all done from the summer, so I'm just doing inside things... plastering, painting, sanding, throwing the dog's tennis ball, etc... It's nothing too complex, but it's hard work none the less.
Anyways, that's what I've been up to lately... what have you all been doing to keep busy?
